I’m so excited to finally be announcing my fall mini session date. For those of you who like a quick and easy photo shoot, this is for you. These mini sessions are great for couples, families, seniors, and babies … and they are perfect for anyone looking for photos for their holiday cards.
Each mini session is only $150 and is held a single location (location is TBD but will likely be in northwest Chicago suburbs), is 30 minutes long and includes 25 digital, high resolution images printable up to an 8 x 12.
The fall mini sessions will be held on Saturday, September 28th. I am starting with 4 evening sessions (4:30, 5, 5:30, 6) and once these fill up, I will open up 4 morning sessions (9, 9:30, 10, 10:30).
Mini sessions booked prior to Thursday, September 19th will receive an ‘Early Bird’ bonus – a complimentary iPhone/Android gallery app with images from your session. A deposit of 50% is due within 7 days of booking in order to reserve your spot. These sessions will fill up fast, so book early. E-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org for scheduling.
I met Cami last fall when I was hired to photograph her oldest sister’s, Rachel, senior photographs. I had so much fun with Rachel and her two sisters, that when their mom, Stacey, asked me to photograph Cami and Riann’s bat mitzvah in March, I couldn’t say no.
And once I heard about all the amazing things that would be happening …. a red carpet with a step-and-repeat, a photo booth, an oscars presentation, the most gorgeous sweets table (which was like a mile long!) … I was totally smitten with their Hollywood themed celebration to welcome these two into adulthood.
Cami and Riann have been best friends for as long they can remember. They live on the same block … right next door to each other. Both girls are little fashionistas … I was in love with all of their wardrobe choices not only for their bat mitzvah but also for our photo shoot before hand. And let me tell you, Cami and Riann are great cheerleaders + dancers. They performed two dances at their party and they know how to move.
Cami + Riann – Thank you for inviting me into your lives for this exciting weekend! I had so much fun getting to know you both and documenting the celebration. Mazel tov!
Last weekend, I had the chance to work with my B.F.F. I guess you could say it is a perk of the job …. especially when your best friend is a fabulous event planner at A Perfect Event. Christine planned an extraordinary 50th birthday party complete with floating lily pads in the indoor pool, a balloon drop, and pretty much the most gorgeous floral I have. ever. seen.
Doesn’t this table make you swoon?! I was so in LOVE.
Guests were welcomed with pomegrante bellinis as they entered the party. And these yummy cocktails kept flowing all night long with a self serve bellini bar.
Vegan passed hor d’overes included Vietnamese spring rolls and tofu skewers with a carrot ginger aioli. I wish I could have put these in my pocket to eat later because they looked (and smelled) amazing!
Everywhere you turned were stunning floral arrangements. I wish my house could have this many beautiful flowers (… but I’d settle for just one … hint, hint, Phil … Valentine’s Day is approaching.)
Wes and Sean from Blend Acoustic played all night long … and let me tell you … they were amazing! If you are looking for some live music … definitely check them out.
As the gang finished singing “Happy Birthday”, a 350-balloon drop was released. Such an amazing moment to capture!
I’ll end on this adorable picture of the birthday girl, Dee, and her husband, Mike, just as she finished opening up her “cheesy” birthday gifts (hence why she is wearing that hat). How adorable are they?!?!
If you are looking for an event planner or just gorgeous floral …. call Debi or Christine at A Perfect Event! Not only are they both amazing at what they do …. but they are both pretty much the sweetest people ever!
