When I think about how long I have been a Chicago family photographer, it usually doesn’t feel *all* that long ago that I picked up my camera and started my business. But when I work with clients like this gorgeous family, I am reminded how long I have actually been doing this.
I first met Olivia and her husband, Josh, nearly six years ago when I photographed a destination wedding in Punta Cana. Olivia was pregnant with her first son, Hudson, at the time. Hudson is now 5 years old! It was SO much fun to be able to spend time and photograph these beautiful souls and their kids nearly six years after we first met.
We spent a gorgeous summer afternoon together at St. James Farm in Warrenville taking their family photos, and boy-oh-boy was it magical. I hadn’t photographed a family in nearly 3 months because of COVID, and this family made coming back oh-so-sweet. Between their perfect style, the soft summer light and their up-for-anything attitudes, we had so much fun taking their family photos.
