Destination weddings are some of my favorite weddings to photograph. Besides the obvious reason of escaping Chicago for a few days to a beautiful location (you all know how much I LOVE to travel), I love the intimacy, the excitement and the new environment to create photographs in. AND I love that I usually have some time after the wedding set aside to photograph my clients again during a day-after / trash-the-dress session.

Miranda and Chris married on the beach in Grand Cayman, however they wanted some photos on Seven Mile Beach near their favorite hotel, the Beach Suites Grand Cayman. So on a perfect Caribbean morning, I met up with the newlyweds to explore the beach and the hotel for some fun day-after wedding photos.

I don’t know about you, but I can never get enough of the stunning Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman.

The Beach Suites Grand Cayman is a gorgeous hotel, and it was an excellent hotel for day after photos.

We ended the session with some trash the dress photos. Miranda and Chris wandered into the Caribbean water, and it was so much fun to photograph.
