Katie and Zach are the type of couple that love to explore where ever they are together. They first met on a charity boat cruise on Lake Michigan, when unbeknownst to Katie, Zach announced to his friends that Katie was the girl he was going to end up with. As the two got to know each other, they attended Chicago Bulls games, ate tacos, listened to live music and wandered around Chicago hand-in-hand.

When the two traveled to Norway together, Zach changed the dynamic of their relationship forever. After two long train rides through the mountains of Flam, Zach did what he knew he would the first time he met Katie, and he asked her to be his wife. Katie and Zach will marry this October in Colorado, but first, I documented their engagement in Chicago complete with their perfect furbaby, Ruby!
