It was at medical school when Trisha first noticed a tall, dark and handsome student named Joey. His shoulder-length, curly hair and his go-to look of comfort (i.e. sweatpants) intrigued her, and soon her and Joey were carpooling to class regularly. They shared a love of fast cars, Irish car bombs and the South Loop.
As they navigated medical school and a long distance relationship, their pasts became intertwined with their futures, and they decided to spend forever together.
On a perfect summer day in Chicago, Trisha and Joey stood together and professed their commitment to one another. An outpouring of love and excitement surrounded them as they became husband and wife and friends and family celebrated their love.
