INTERCONTINENTAL WEDDING // JOHN + OLGA

I couldn’t have dreamed of ending 2013 with any other wedding than John and Olga’s intimate wedding at the Intercontinetial on Michigan Avenue. Don’t get me wrong, I love big weddings, but there is something so special and emotional about a wedding with only family and very close friends which is exactly what John and Olga wanted. They found me through the amazingly talented Christine from A Perfect Event, and before I had even talked to John and Olga, Christine was raving on to me how they are some of the nicest people ever (after just a few emails, I knew she was so right).

John and Olga live in southern California but they opted to have their wedding here in Chicago so all of the important people in their lives could be there. A Perfect Event created a dreamy wedding with the dark red and orange floral, gold glassware accents and gorgeous ribbon chandeliers. The ceremony was beyond romantic in the little alcove at the hotel, and the Spanish ceremony only added to the beauty of John and Olga promising to be at one another’s sides forever.

John and Olga – It was such an honor to be able to document your wedding day! While we haven’t spent as much time together as I normally do with my couples, I can tell that you both have found your perfect other half. I wish you both nothing but years of love and happiness. Much love + xo.
