The sun beamed down as the Lake Michigan waves crashed along the Michigan coast. She hurried around her suite doing her little sister’s makeup, fluffing her bridesmaids’ dresses and checking in on everyone there. Mindi was less concerned with her preparation as she was of her bridesmaids, flower girl and family. She happily moved around the room knowing that whatever the day would bring, she was still marrying the love of her life.

Adam is the type of guy who is loyal and will do whatever he can to be there for you. He treasures his friendships and relationships with not only his friends and family, but also Mindi’s. And as his groomsmen hung out and watched football together on the wedding day, Adam wandered around the room making sure to spend time with everyone who traveled to share in his wedding day.

What makes Mindi and Adam so special is not just their apparent love and devotion to one another, but also to their friends and family. While their wedding day was about promising a lifetime together through good times and bad, to Mindi and Adam, the day was about sharing a part of their love story with those who mean the most to them.

Mindi and Adam … You did it! Thank you for inviting me into your lives to document your first day as husband and wife … it was a honor. You are two of the nicest people I have met, and I wish you nothing but the best as you follow your dreams and fall deeper in love with each other. Love and xo – Brittany

Mindi’s Betsey Johnson wedding shoes were the perfect mix of fun and sweetness … just like Mindi.

Mindi made sure she had time to help her little sister and maid-of-honor feel and look beautiful.

Adam is such a gentleman, so it only seemed fitting he would have custom cufflinks to wear on his wedding day.

Mindi and Adam opted for a first look which allowed for a special moment between the two of them and plenty of time for photos.

Mindi is the type of girl who is just gorgeous – inside and out.

The Shadowland Ballroom has a carousel attached to it which was such a unique (and fun!) backdrop for bride and groom portraits.

Adam and Mindi met at Purdue, so Mindi’s mom custom made this cover for Adam and Mindi to use for photos. Isn’t it amazing?!

I just loved Nicole’s angle of Mindi and Adam on the carousel.

The ceremony took place at a pavilion near the beautiful Silver Beach in St. Joseph, Michigan.

As Mindi’s brother, their officiant, read their vows aloud, they smiled, laughed, and teared up with the the gravity of their professed love. 

The new Mr. and Mrs.!

Mindi’s sister prepared the most heartfelt speech … and fought back the tears to say everything she planned. It was beyond sweet.

We snuck out for a few sunset photos on at Silver Beach across the street … and the light was just dreamy!
