Over a decade ago, Marie and Brian met at their church. Their relationship started as a platonic one. They became friends and celebrated each others success and happiness along the way. As time went on, life took them on separate paths as Marie stayed in Chicago to pursue her graduate degree, and Brian moved to Georgia. 

Yet while the miles separated them physically, their relationship grew closer. Soon it was frequent video chat dates and long phone conversations lasting late into the night. Somewhere along the way of their flourishing friendship, a relationship bloomed. Some of the best relationships develop out of friendships, and Marie knew that her relationship with Brian would be one of them.

Constant schedules of flights between Georgia and Chicago became the norm. They were in two cities, hundreds of miles apart, and yet their love was bursting at the seams. Brian felt that his heart and the woman he adored shouldn’t be so far apart, so he packed up his bags, purchased a one way ticket to Chicago because his happiness is where Marie is.

Brian and Marie are planning a beautiful fall wedding for this October in Oak Brook.

I first met Bryan and Marie last November, so I was so excited to hang out with them again.

We met at Graue Mill in Oak Brook, and the area was soaking in beautiful afternoon light.

Brian adores Marie in a way that every girl wishes. She lights up his face and he so sweet to her.

I love it when my couples fall into each other in a fit of laughter ….

The grounds at the mill are beyond gorgeous and they only highlighted Marie and Brian’s love for each other.

Brian doesn’t take himself too seriously …. which I think is wonderful. When I asked him to dance for me, he performed a little number, and it made all of us smile.

No really, they are the cutest … aren’t they?
