The crisp October afternoon radiated with sunshine as Robin slipped into her dress at the Chicago Yacht Club. “I don’t want to be smiling in every single photo,” she said, as she tried to contain the excitement inside, but it was impossible. The day was full of too much love, happiness and joy, and she couldn’t wipe the smile off her face.
Overlooking Lake Michigan, Robin and Dewayne proclaimed their love to each other promising to always be the best version of themselves. Both have given themselves selflessly to others – Dewayne to his country, serving two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Robin, to the children she helps everyday as a school social worker. Together, they love endlessly and support each other unconditionally.
As they walked down the aisle as husband and wife for the first time, Robin and Dewayne knew that this moment would forever be remembered as perfect.
Robin and Dewayne – You are the type of people who inspire others to be better, to give more, and to have fun along the ride. It means that world to me that you trusted me to document your first day as husband and wife. I am thrilled to have shared in your day, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both. Much love and gratitude – Brittany
