As the rain drizzled outside the Hotel Lincoln, Stacy wandered about her suite glowing with happiness. The cold and wet October afternoon couldn’t bring down her spirit as she was overwhelmed with excitement to finally marry Matt.
Stacy slipped into her gorgeous gown and hugged her twin sister. They looked at each other – not saying a word – in a way that only sisters can communicate. They missed their mom. The twins lost their mother last year, and it was clear how badly they wanted her there in that moment with them.
Stacy and Matt promised to love unconditionally at the Madonna Chapel knowing that every friend and family member – in the church and in spirit – could feel the strength of their love. They reminisced about all the firsts in their relationship and reminded one another of all the things they hope to do together as a couple. And just like that, Stacy and Matt were husband and wife.
Stacy and Matt – The day was exactly what I had hoped for and more. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms and making us feel so welcome. You are such thoughtful, kind and generous people, and I wish you both nothing but the best. Much love – Brittany
I just adored Stacy’s Burberry Prorsum wedges ….
In honor of Stacy’s mother, she had Blumgarten & co. design her sister’s bouquet to match their mother’s on her wedding day.
Stacy’s energy is contagious, and she was so excited to walk down the aisle once she had her wedding gown on.
Matt was cool, calm and collected as his put on his tux at the hotel.
The Madonna del Strada chapel at Loyola’s campus is simply gorgeous!
Nicole captured this moment….. and I just love it.
The new Mr. and Mrs. !!!
The rain stopped just as we left the church so that we could take some bride and groom photos around Loyola’s beautiful campus.
Stacy changed into this stunning Valentino gown after the ceremony.
These doors …. well they made my heart sing with joy.
The celebration continued at Lush Wine and Spirits for cocktails and yummy hors d’oeuvres.
Guests were greeted with a glass of bubbles poured from the largest champagne bottle I have ever seen!
The evening was full of heartfelt toasts from family ….
…. and laughter ….
And lots of dancing, celebrating and love.
Many thanks to this amazing creative team who brought this wedding together…
