Some couples are just meant to be, and Suzanne & Wesley? They’re one of them. Their love story literally started in Amelia Island when Suzanne’s golden retriever, Bruce, (aka the world’s best wingman) was waiting outside a local restaurant and caught Wesley’s attention. Fast forward, and not only did Bruce introduce them, but he also stole the show as their ring bearer—complete with custom “Team Bruce” hats for guests to wear once the dance floor opened up. Their The Amelia Island Ocean Club wedding was simply perfection – what I like to call a unicorn wedding because everything was magic.

Suzanne & Wesley do everything together—they’re the type of couple who wake up at the crack of dawn to hit a workout, spend their weekends adventuring with Bruce, and love any excuse to gather their people. So, it’s no surprise that their Amelia Island Ocean Club wedding was packed with all their favorite things—beachy elegance, amazing food, and nonstop dancing.

The day started with Studio Bride Artistry working their magic, giving Suzanne and her bridal party the perfect glowy, sunkissed beauty look that totally matched the island vibes. Guests arrived to the breathtaking ceremony setup at The Amelia Island Club with Jax Strings setting the mood with dreamy live music.

And then there was the design—Emily Burton Designs crushed it. Everything was effortlessly elegant with a gorgeous oyster bar, lush florals from Amazing Wedding Productions, and the most beautiful tent setup from Beachview Event Rentals. The dance floor packed was all night long thanks to The Honey Badgers (a local Amelia Island band that knows how to get people moving), this wedding was everything—chic, playful, and a total party. It was the kind of wedding that felt polished but totally relaxed at the same time—just like Suzanne & Wesley.

For Suzanne & Wesley, Amelia Island is home to so many special memories—it’s where they met, where they spend time with their closest people, and now, where they started their forever. The Amelia Island Club was the perfect setting for their wedding, blending beachside romance with the ultimate party atmosphere.
