When Julie emailed me a few weeks ago letting me know she wanted to schedule a maternity session, I was giddy with excitement. You see, I first met Julie and George nearly 4 years ago when I photographed their engagement in Chicago. These two are extremely laid-back, super sweet and so much fun, so when they asked me to document this milestone for them, I was honored.

I met Julie and George at Olive Park last week on a sunny afternoon. The blooms still lingered on the trees and the golden sun danced on Lake Michigan. The two cuddled up together and talked about their wishes for their little one. They agreed to be surprised on if their first born will be a boy or a girl, and they only have a few more weeks until they will know. Until then, here is a little look at the love and excitement of the new-parents-to-be.
