The July sun poured into the bridal suite as Kim, her bridesmaids and family anxiously awaited the day ahead. The day was going to be a hot one, but the Chicago heat didn’t phase Kim, just as along as the predicted rain held out until after her outdoor ceremony.

As she made her way toward Danny on the golf course, her smile grew with each step. Danny, was calm all morning, but as Kim approached him, he felt his heart beating faster. His nerves quickly disappeared after one look at his gorgeous bride-to-be and were exchanged for tears of happiness as he hugged Kim and gave her a soft kiss.

Rain trickled from the sky forcing Kim and Danny to go inside. And then it poured. But just as Kim was about to walk down the aisle, the clouds parted and the sun glowed allowing Kim and Danny to have the day that had planned. Friends and family – both present and in spirit – filled their hearts with joy and love as they watched Kim and Danny become husband and wife on a gorgeous, sunny afternoon.

Kim and Danny – The day went by WAY to fast! Even amidst the rain, it was a wonderful day for two equally wonderful people. Thank you for inviting me into your lives to document your first day as husband and wife. I hope the bliss and love of the best day ever intensifies over the years ahead.

Kim had the prettiest of details including beautiful heirloom jewelry from family.

Kim glowed with happiness all morning.

Danny lost both of his parents. He wore his father’s dog tags and his mother’s rings at his heart all day long as a way of having them at his side all day.

Danny looked extremely handsome in his Vera Wang tuxedo.

Kim and Danny opted for a first look, and I couldn’t have been happier as it allowed for us plenty of time for photos before the ceremony (and the rain that eventually hit).

Danny was over come with happiness when he saw Kim for the first time.

The course at Chevy Chase Country Club is beautiful and it was a gorgeous setting for our bride and groom photos.

Kim and Danny’s wedding party were all so sweet and fun.

The rain stopped JUST in time for the team at Chevy Chase to dry off the chairs so that Danny and Kim could have the gorgeous outdoor wedding that they wanted.

Kim’s flowers girls helped her carry her dress.

Danny surprised Kim during the exchanging of the rings and got down on one knee and pledge his devotion to her.

Kim and Danny locked two locks together to symbolize their enteral union together. They then tied the keys to balloons and let the wind take the keys away.

Officially, Mr. and Mrs!!!!

Kim and Danny had gorgeous wedding details throughout the reception space.

The evening was full of sweet and hysterical toasts in Kim and Danny’s honor.
