The warm ocean breeze kissed Kim as she looked out her suite’s balcony to the turquoise water, white powder sand and the palm trees. She was in paradise, and the day was only going to get better as she slipped into her gorgeous lace gown to finally marry, Patrick. Their love story began on the 4th of July in Champaign, Illinois and a decade later, on July 4th, they promised their love to one another in front of their closest friends and family on a beach in Negril, Jamaica. Kim and Patrick had vacationed in Jamaica and fell in love with the beauty of the island, so it only seemed fitting that they would begin the next chapter of their lives together in a place so dear to their hearts.

As Kim walked through the sand to meet Patrick, he beamed with happiness as the woman he adores made her way into his arms. The sun hid behind the clouds while they pledged their love to one another … promising to always love with everything they have and to have fun along the way. Later that evening, toasts were made in their honor celebrating their dedication to their friends and family and to each other. The steel drum band played reggae as Patrick and Kim danced the night away as husband and wife.

Kim + Patrick …. I adore you both! Thank you for the honor of documenting your love in Jamaica. It was nothing short of amazing to celebrate in the place that is so special to you, and I feel so lucky to have spent time with you both. Kim opted to dress outside, and I couldn’t have been happier because the balcony was soaking in beautiful light.

Her lace gown was stunning, and her mom and her sister made sure everything was perfect as she dressed.

Kim wore a smile all day long radiating with beauty and happiness.

Patrick and his groomsmen hung out in the air conditioning prior to the ceremony to avoid the hot Jamaican sun.

I have known Patrick since college, so it was such a great experience to photograph his wedding for him. He looked extra handsome in his suit.

Just before the ceremony was about to start, the clouds rolled in giving everyone a break from the hot Caribbean sun.

Patrick and Kim surround themselves with friends and family that make them better. Their wedding party was so sweet and so much fun.

The golden hour sun was perfect for bride and groom photos around the RIU Palace Tropical Bay resort.

Patrick and Kim live in Montana now, so the first time in front of my camera was their wedding day. They were complete naturals and glowing with excitement.

Kim mentioned her favorite part of her dress was the back, and I couldn’t agree more. It was just gorgeous and looked fantastic on her.

Guests were invited to an intimate dinner overlooking the Caribbean Ocean at the RIU.

No detail was overlooked all day long. Kim, Patrick, and their families traveled to Jamaica with lots of personal details including this adorable print. They went above and beyond to make sure their guests were spoiled with adorable welcome bags and beautiful wooden ornament favors.

Friends and family traveled thousands of miles to celebrate Patrick and Kim’s wedding day, and they shared beautiful memories of each during their reception.

After thanking their guests, Patrick bragged he was the luckiest guy in the world to have Kim as his wife. His words were sweet and loving, and he made Kim feel extra special on their best day ever.

A local steel drum band played beautiful music throughout the evening.

Friends and family danced late into the evening …

And celebrated with the Mr. and Mrs.
