When my dear friend and extremely talented photographer, Cassandra of Cassandra Photo, asked me to second shoot P and M’s Kentucky wedding with her, I was beyond excited. I simply adore shooting alongside of Cassandra, and I knew that P and M’s wedding was not only going to be amazing because of the details and the blended traditions (P and M chose to have an American ceremony and an Indian ceremony), but also because of how amazing these two are.

Ever since I was in junior high school, I have been fascinated with Indian culture – the colors, the sparkle, the mendi, the saris – it is all so gorgeous and really a photographer’s dream so it has been on my photography bucket list to photograph an Indian ceremony. And let me tell you, P and M’s wedding was the perfect wedding to cross it off my wish list. From the bold pops of yellow and blue to P’s sparkling yellow sari to the absolutely gorgeous Kentucky / Ohio weather, Cassandra and I loved every moment of documenting this wedding.
