The house was filled with happy conversation sprinkled with Italian, English and lots of laughter. On the morning of her wedding, Concetta surrounded herself with friends and family who support and love her with all their hearts. A few blocks down, Steve put on his bow tie as he prepared to marry his best friend since junior high school. This day had been many years in the making, and everyone was delighted it was finally here.

Steve took Concetta’s hand as they stood together in St. Edmund Parish and professed his devotion to her. He promised to love, cherish, and honor her and glowing with happiness, she returned his vows. When they sealed their promise with a kiss, cheers and applause floated throughout the church.

Concetta + Steven – I am so happy the world has a couple like you in it. Your love is truly remarkable, and my heart overflows with love for you both. The morning started off at Concetta’s childhood home with the prettiest of bridal details.

Concetta’s father owns a salon, and Guiseppina from gino difranco salon ensured Concetta’s hair was flawless. Many thanks to Fancesca from makeup & hair artistry by francesca for the stunning makeup!

Her dad glowed with happiness and excitement when he saw his little girl for the first time in her wedding dress.

Meanwhile, Kelly photographed Steve as he got ready.

Steve and Concetta chose to marry at St. Edmund Parish in Oak Park, and it was a gorgeous church.

Concetta smiled the whole time as Steve and her finally said I do.

Concetta and Steve are well loved. Their wedding party was full of friends and family from all different times in their lives, and each person was a joy to be around.

Dominican University was the perfect location for wedding photos.

Concetta radiated with beauty on her wedding day.

I could have photographed these two all day. I mean …. their love is so beautiful!

I have known Steve since we were kids, so it was such an honor to photograph him on such an important day. He looked so handsome in his tux.

The reception was a blast and it started off with some lovely toasts.

The newlyweds were overwhelmed with all the love and support from everyone there to celebrate their love.

The day was full of many great moments like the first dance.

And once the dance floor open, jojo + gizep kept the dance floor packed.

The reception was seeped in tradition … including Greek dancing!
