I have known this pretty lady for years. Lauren and I went to high school together, but it wasn’t until we both started our businesses that our paths really started to cross. This beauty is an extremely talented make-up artist. Her company LG Makeup Design is one of the best for make-up and airbrush tanning. (Brides, if you are looking for someone to make you extra gorgeous on your big day, I promise you, Lauren is the gal for you!)

What I adore most about Lauren is her passion for what she does. Over the years, we have had lots of conversations about owning our own businesses and every time we talk, she always stresses how blessed she is to do what she loves, and I couldn’t agree more. When you do what you love, it never really feels like work, and you can tell that Lauren loves making women feel beautiful. Lauren is the type of girl who just gets you …. right off the bat. She is outgoing, fun and beyond sweet, and it was such an honor to photograph this beauty for her new headshots.

Lauren isn’t a stranger to photo shoots, but she is normally involved behind-the-scenes so she was a little nervous about being in front of the camera. I have no idea why though because she was a COMPLETE natural. I mean seriously, how gorgeous is she?!?!

We wandered around Chicago for some fun urban backdrops to give Lauren’s headshots some personality and edge.

When Lauren threw on this amazing lipstick color, I was beyond jealous because she pulls it off perfectly.
