The October sun peeked through the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center hotel suite as Sandy checked her hair and make-up for one last time. The day was finally here, and she kept checking in on everyone …. tidying up the room as she bounced from bridesmaid to bridesmaid. She wasn’t nervous … just anxious to begin her happily ever after with Chris.
As Chris put on his tux and straightened his bow tie downstairs, a smile beamed from his face. He was quiet, but the happiness and excitement of the day were are over his face.
The love between Sandy and Chris radiated as the they saw each other for the first time, and they hugged each other tight promising to never forget how perfect the moment was. The day was nothing short of a celebration as their families shed happy tears, friends toasted to their love, and everyone danced into the late hours of the evening. Love filled the room.
Sandy and Chris – You guys are the BEST! I am beyond blessed to tell your beautiful wedding day story, and it was nothing short of perfection. I adore you both, and I wish you nothing short of much love and adventure. Much love and xo – Brittany
Sandy had 6 pairs of shoes for her wedding. She planned to wear them all, but I just loved these beautiful Kate Spade shoes.
Sandy … you are just GORGEOUS.
Sandy and Chris decided to have a first look before their ceremony, and I couldn’t have been happier. It allowed us plenty of time for bride and groom photos.
Prospect Heights Flowers designed such a unique and beautiful bouquet complete with feathers.
These two should be in a magazine … just gorgeous.
Nicole snuck around the corner and captured this shot ….
While I was taking this shot.
The bridesmaids were stunning in their mismatched dresses.
And the groomsmen were extra handsome with their tuxes and converse sneakers.
Sandy and Chris promised to love one another forever at the stunning Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Chicago.
The first kiss as husband and wife!
Sandy and Chris thought of every little detail for their reception – many of which they DIYed to perfection.
Central Continental Bakery designed the most gorgeous (and delicious) wedding cake.
The evening was complete with heartfelt toasts.
And sweet little glances at each other.
And a dessert that came out with flames ….. fancy!
The first dance between the Sandy and Chris was both sweet and fun.
The dance floor was the spot to be as the evening went on…..
But first, Chris had to remove Sandy’s garter … and the DJ made him and all the groomsmen work for it by first giving the bridesmaids a little dance.
Chris had to find his new Mrs. blindfolded …. and he knew right away when he found her.
Friends and family celebrated late into the evening offering up their best dance moves.
Many thanks to this amazing creative team who brought this wedding together…
