The bridal suite buzzed with noise of little ones running around and bridesmaids laughing as Nina sipped champagne glowing with excitement. Despite the chaos around her, Nina remained calm. Nothing could upset her, not even the rain that trickled down from the cloudy sky. All that mattered was that she was about to marry her soulmate, Chris.

In a way, it seemed that the universe brought Nina and Chris together. They met just moments before midnight on New Year’s Eve. As the party counted down to midnight, they shared their first kiss. Their first kiss of the New Year and their first kiss with each other. Two years later, when Chris proposed on New Year’s Eve, they realized that first kiss would be their last first kiss.

Overlooking the beautiful golf course at Hawk’s View Country Club, Nina and Chris stood hand-in-hand before their friends and family and promised their love and devotion to each other. They vowed to stand by each other until the end of time, and they sealed their promise with a kiss. And just like that, a new first kiss, their first kiss as husband and wife, would forever change their lives.

The day started off in the bridal suite at Hawk’s View Golf Club in Lake Geneva.

Nina’s gown the the perfect mix of pretty and fun.

Nina was so excited to slip into her gown, and her bridesmaids took extra care of her to make sure it was laced perfectly.

Tying the corset on Nina’s gown takes time, so her bridesmaids made sure Nina had a glass of bubbles in hand. Now those are my kind of bridesmaids.

While Nina was getting dressed, Chris was at the nearby hotel making sure his tux was perfect.

Chris was eager for Nina to make her way into his arms as she walked down the aisle.

One amazing feature of Hawk’s View is that the beautiful ceremony site is covered. So despite the on-and-off rain that happened throughout the day, Nina and Chris were able to have their ceremony overlooking the golf course.

Chris’ long time family friend officiated the ceremony and made sure to add wonderful personal touches to it.

Nina couldn’t stop smiling throughout the whole ceremony.

The first kiss as husband and wife!!!

The wedding party was so much fun to be around.

Bobbi from Pretty Little Things designed all the beautiful bouquets. I was in flower heaven.

The sun peaked out from behind the clouds just as we started our bride and groom photos.

Nina radiated with beauty. And I was completely smitten with her whole look.

Chris and Nina made sure to soak in all the little moments together during our bride and groom photos, and I was so happy they did. They exuded happiness.

No detail was left unthought of including all the beautiful birdcage centerpieces and initial letters throughout the room.

The reception was full of  laughter …

and sweet moments, like Nina and Chris’ first dance as husband and wife.

The women in Chris’ family surprised Nina and Chris with a choreographed dance routine that was out of this world. It is a family tradition for them to do this at weddings.

All the ladies wore custom designed t-shirts for the performance, and they had one made for Nina as a keepsake.

The dance floor was packed, and guests danced late into the evening.

As the night winded down, everyone was invited outside to release a paper lantern for Nina and Chris.
