Where do I even begin with Sarah + Ryan’s fine art maternity photos?!? I mean, there are so so dreamy that I can’t stop loving on this maternity session. Sarah is my long-time client’s sister-in-law, so when she first emailed me, I had a feeling that we would become fast friends, and I was totally right. This girl is sweeter than sweet and is so much fun to be around. What made this session so fun is that Sarah and Ryan are expecting their first little one, a baby girl, right around the same time that our baby boy is due, so Sarah and I could relate on all things pregnancy, getting ready for the first baby, and the slow walking as we wandered around Cantigny Park.

We had a crazy gorgeous November day with temperatures in the 60’s (which clearly we all loved!). And the style that these two brought to their shoot — I mean, c’mon! When Sarah pulled out the floral crown and lace kimono duster, I nearly died. If I could photograph floral crowns and boho vibes all day long, you know I would. I am so happy that I could photograph this time for such a sweet couple, and I am over the moon excited for them to welcome their baby girl this January.
