Meet Emily and Carlos, a fun couple who call Miami their home. When they reached out to me for their engagement photo session (and the super fun idea Emily had), I was so excited to co-create with them. While Emily and Carlos considered taking engagement photos in Miami, they decided that they wanted to document their engagement in their happy place – Naples so I met the two in downtown Naples.

As a tennis-loving couple, they wanted to incorporate their fav weekend sport into their engagement photos, and I love that we started their engagement session with this. We began the session with playful photos of them on the tennis court in downtown Naples and the perfectly styled tennis clothes. We had the whole tennis courts to ourselves which was amazing, and I just love how we were able to incorporate their love of tennis and the tropical Florida palm trees and flowering trees into the first half of their engagement session.

As golden hour approached, we headed to my favorite downtown Naples beach, where the sun dipped below the horizon, creating the most dreamy light and beautiful sunset. Emily is a style blogger, and she brought her style game to these engagement photos, am I right? I mean her blue floral dress on the beach was a DREAM! And these two cuties made my job so freakin’ easy with their laughter, love, and complete trust in all my ideas.

Emily and Carlos will be tying the knot in Charleston at the River House next year, and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their wedding story in South Carolina.
